Not all of us have space to make and house a large garden in our backyard, sometimes all we have is a windowsill to put a few pot plants on because we live in apartments. This should not discourage you from still planting something in your home.
Herbs are helpful to bring a dish to life by adding a little flavour or sweet smell to the meal. You can easily grow tomatoes in a pot plant or chillis to pick from when you make salads or curries. No matter the size of your growing section, you can plant something to help.
You might even consider chatting to a neighbor about possibly starting a community garden where someone offers a patch of their lawn to house a few rows of garden troughs and everyone can help with purchasing seeds, nutrients, fertilizer and paying for the water bill to help make the fruits and veggies grow and available to all in your small community.
