The white floor is a polyester membrane to separate the ground from the compost and the twigs at the bottom are laid down first to provide a long life of nitrogen availability for the soil.

From the basic bed to complete construction and a little green paint and the job is done.

Old tyres are very useful and spacious specially for crops like potatoes where you can keep adding a tyre to the stack to add soil and it becomes really easy to harvest, simply lift the tyre and shake out all your potatoes.
