What are Vertical Farms?
These farms are specifically designed to use height to their advantage for growing vegetables.
This means any sort of farm that is secured in an upward direction is known as a Vertical Farm. So think of PVC pipes running up the side of the wall that are interconnected together to allow for water to be pumped through each pipe, there are also big round pipes that stand upright on their own with leafy greens popping out from specially designed holes where plants are placed and grow from.
Vertical Farms use a few different systems. Some are Aeroponics or Aquaponics but the most common is Hydroponics as it is the easiest watering and feeding system for your plants.
