If you don't have any seeds but have some carrots in your fridge then it is possible for you to grow them from their chopped off tops.
Best way to do this is by chopping the tops off and putting it into a small glass of water that just covers the orange part of the carrot. It should take about 2 - 3 days and you'll see some green sprouts rising up from the top. Now you can plant it into your prepared garden or container.
Make sure the soil is a 'light' soil so that the carrots can grow without getting obstructed by any rocks or big bits of stone or wood. Otherwise you will cause splitting of the carrot.
